44 tailor-made Axedo manholes for a new development project in Middelburg by DYKA Netherlands

Green and pleasant living with the center of Middelburg within reach: that is what one gets if they choose to reside at Veersepoort 5. At this green location, which is situated close to the Vogelpark, 75 single-family homes and 33 apartments are being developed. On the advice of the municipality of Middelburg, Axedo manholes were used for the construction of the outdoor sewer system.

In collaboration with the SPS (Special Products and Services) department, 44 Axedo inspection manholes, with variable heights and diameters, have been assembled for this project. The Engineering & Consultancy department also contributed ideas in the preliminary phase about the telescope function and the variable height. The contractor uses the telescope function to ensure the sewer drain is connected to the correct road height. This bridges the gap between the ground level and finishing of approximately 10 centimeters in the residential and construction phase.
