In the Gravenstraat, which is situated between Mol and Dessel in Belgium, the contractor Verbraeken Infra opted for horizontal directional drilling for the laying of cables and pipelines. This is a trenchless technique that reduces the impact on the environment to a minimum. DYKA supplied the HDPE pipe sleeve directly from stock and this was done immediately after the end of the building trade vacation period - despite the exceptional requirements of 225 mm diameter and a pipe length of 20 meters. This is another excellent example of the quality of DYKA’s service.
HDPE pipe sleeves are the ideal solution for underground drilling, especially in heavily urbanized, protected, or inaccessible areas. For this project, the supplied pipe length of 20 meters ensured faster installation and this resulted in even less disturbance to the surrounding area.
Thanks to a dynamic collaboration with the contractor Verbraeken Infra, a total of 3 km of HDPE drilling sleeve were successfully laid. We are pleased to have contributed to this success story with a prompt and complete delivery that came directly from stock and was sent on the first day following the vacation period!
DYKA produces high-quality HDPE pipes at its production and distribution site in Pelt. Its location in Belgium enables the company to play a dynamic role in the growing market for pipe sleeves. DYKA is able to quickly supply an extensive range of SDR11 and SDR17 pipes, directly from stock.
